Anyone know?

I am 14 years old, almost 15 in April. I live in Oregon, Illinois. I had a job over the summer for babysitting, but the guy never payed me and owes me 745$. I am not getting the money anytime soon; so that’s not an option. I need to know what kind of jobs I could get for Oregon, Illinois. Does anyone know of any?

First, why would you let him build up a debt without getting your money?? You can go to small claims court, but you probably don’t have a any agreement in writting.

At your age you can get a work permit, then work at a grocery store, car wash, delivery for fast food. Oregon Illinois isn’t that big, so you shoul be able to deliver easily. Good luck.

why not go to his house with an adult and tell him to pay you? that’s rude.

either ask him to pay you or start making payments on the money he oes you or as another person said, get your parents to confront him about this thats a lot of money to owe on babysitting though its also likely he knows he doesnt have the money, but needs a babysitter I would advise you to quit the job as its not fauir to you youve done the job but havent been rewarded for it, and thats not fair
