How do you make roots go away when dying it lighter??? My roots are horrribbbleee

As long as you color your hair…you’ll have roots. You have to retouch your color every 3-6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. It’s better to have someone else do it for you because you can not see all of your hair easily. If you go over the color point you could end up with what’s called a line of demarcation, or halo. If you don’t get close enough to that point you’ll have a dark ring. ( I’m assuming you lighten your hair ). When there is about 10 mins left on your time you can pull the color through to your ends. Never do it all at once! Your ends are damaged and drier than your root area and will soak up more color and damage. It will eventually look like bleached out horse hair.

umm, I believe they have special root touch up dye kits specificaly for your roots. I don’t know look around at what they have in the hair and beauty section of wal mart to see what your options are. It must be there.
