If an accused criminal goes on the run from the police....

…And then whilst on the run Is proven innocent, would the police still charge the person for running from them?

Seen this scenario on a soap and it got me wondering!

Answer #1

Well.. they say that you aren’t supposed to run from the police BUT people still do- obviously. Can’t really compare soaps and real life because anything is possible in soaps LOL In reality however, I would think that it would be to the discretion of the police officer. I can see it going both ways just because some officers are more lenient than others.
