A level ICT

I’ve always enjoyed computers and things like that but I didnt take ICT at GCSE, is it possible to take it as an A level when I reach sixth form? or will it be to hard as I havent learnt the stuff from GCSE? thanks, just a thought :)

Thanks for the advice :) I dont know why I didnt take it in the first place to be honest XD and yeah I will be staying on at my current school so ill check with my teachers, yeah I also need to decide by the end of January, its going to be a pain really >.< good luck choosing :)

I’m pretty sure that you don’t need the GCSE ICT to be able to take it for A-Level. Are you applying for a new sixth form/college or staying at your current school? You can ask them there and they should tell you whether GCSE ICT is required or not. I’m guessing since you are already interested in computers you would probably know the basics. Most schools/colleges say “Prior study of the subject at GCSE level may be of benefit but it is not essential” however you will need to check with your school that you will be attending because some schools have slightly different syllabus. Good luck :) I’m also choosing my A-Levels..have to decide by the end of January!
