Why do I have an odor?
I have an odor down there it’s very embarrasing. I told my mom about it and I told her it’s a fishy type smell. She took me to the doctor and they told me to swab myself and they would send it to the lab. It’s been 2 weeks now and no answer. my mom says its good news but the odor is still there and I’m a very clean person. What do I do?
it could most likely be a blatter infection. go get some meds for it and don’t clean that are with harsh soaps. try feminine wash which is more milder and less sensitive for that private are. be sure drink plenty of water and ALWAYS wear cotton panties so that area can breathe properly when you are wearing clothes.
I went to the doctor and I got a swab but since I was on my cycle I dont know if that could’ve caused the test to not go right.
Try a product such as vagasil or some other douche to see if that helps, your problem is not uncommon, usually yes no news is good news but if you are concerned the call the doctors office and inquire about it.
I tell my mom all this stuff but all she says is I’m not taking you back to the doctor
