What sort of jobs could I get for a 16 year old?

Hi im only just 16 and am fed up of asking my parents for money so I thought as soon I was 16 I could get a job. I was thinking of working in a newsagent or shop like that e.g. diss publishing or pets corner in diss but I don't know if they would have vacancies.

A sixteen year old can make really good money waiting tables at good, solid, established eateries like Huddle House, Shoney's, Waffle House...any established family oriented restaurant is a good place to work - for teens. In most states, anyone in the teen years - from thirteen to eighteen - can get jobs waiting tables or busing tables. There is a requirement of a work permit, (very easy to obtain and file - your school or city hall can tell you where to get work permits for those under 16 years. of age (sometimes under 18 years. of age)...all you need is your guardians signature on permit...and, there is no cost involved) ; the real money is made in tips, so, don't worry if the hourly wages are low. Check with your City. They usually have a youth program. Try the conservation corps, they also have youth programs. Check with your school they should be able to provide you with some leads as well. Good luck.

I only had one job in my life and that was when I was 14. the job was mostly liek being someones organizer in their office because I mostly did that. a good job to get is like is to work where theres good pay and good service. thats if you wan to ^_^ well good luck! im even looking for a JOB MYSELF!

I was going to get a job when I was 16 pero I lost that chance enen though I didnt get one I am going to get one this year becuse Im turning 17 and I cant wait.
