Will dying blonde over black dye make my hair normal?

I dyed my hair black and it was a semi perminant ,but the box said the dye would be out in 28 washes! But i have done about 50 washes and it hasnt gone back to my normal hair colour! My old hair colour was a golden blonde. But ever scince i dyed my...

Relax, hair grows!!! Your normal hair colour will return eventually, you just have to be patient. In the meantime, you can either leave it black or dye it back to the way it used to be, it's your call.

Also, maybe you should see a stylist who will advise you on removing the dye faster (I'm sure someone in a salon will give you this info for free!)

Please bear in mind that washing your hair too often is not very healthy, as this can remove natural oils from it.

with a color as dark as black,u either hav to wait for it to completlet grow out , get it done professionally, or try the hair color removers they sell at drug stores.

i have the same problem, my hair in the front is lite brown and in the back is black. go to a salon and ask. or call the 1-800 number on the back of the package that's wat i did, and the associates were really helpful. they know their stuff.

On all the boxes of black hair dye that I have seen you're not supposed to dye your hair black if your hair is blonde, it will stain. But no dying over it blonde won't fix it. I would go see a hair stylist.
