I have a question. I've never had a cold sore in my entire life (I'm 24) and once I found out my husband was deploying the stress started piling on. I started developing a bump on my lip. Not at the edge of my lip but directly on my lip. I noticed it in the evening and kept watching it. The next morning it was a full blown blister. Not red or gross or anything, but like a blister you get when you burn your finger on a curling iron or something. Just barely touching it caused it to break and the clear liquid was drained. I just noticed tonight that I'm getting another one. The last time this happened was in October. Help??
No, a lot of people have it. I think I read that by the time you are 40 there is a 50% chance that you will have caught this virus.
No. I always bite my bottom lip. This is on my top lip right on one of the "humps" of my cupid's bow. If that makes any sense.
I've went to that website a million times and couldn't find anything out. Is it bad? I've never had a cold sore before.
Sounds like a cold sore. http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/tc/cold-sores-symptoms
Mind you it's not close to the edge of my lip or my face. Just directly on my lip.
Have you been chewing on your lip without realizing it?
what do I do??
