Weird questions...

Here is my random q/... I do need my q answerd but I would also want to know your RANDOM/WEIRD q's too!

my q= so if I am alergic to cats would I be allergic to tigers, lions, cheetas, and other cat related animal??? and do hairless cats ever get cold???

That tiger/lion/et cetera quesiton is the best question I've seen on here so far.

The answer is no. When one is allergic to a certain animal, one doesn't automatically become allergic to all those animals that share the same genus. The reson is that a person is not allergic to the animal itself but to its dander, and even different breed of animal within the same species produce remarkably different dander. So, for instance, if someone were allergic to golden retrievers, they might not be as allergic to a low-dander breed of dog, like a maltese or a poodle.

As for the hairless cats, yes, they get cold, just as regular cats and humans get cold. Hairless cats will simply get cold at higher temperatures than haired cats, but they are not helpless. Just as regular haired cats will find another animal, human, or a blanket to get cozy with to warm up, so will the hairless cats.
