How do I explain emo and scene?

at my school people label me as emo or scene

everytime they ask me what they are I don't know how to tell them

please can you help me

(and I am aware that emo is a music genre and scene is a style...they don't know the

diff. between emo and scene people though)

You shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone,
next time they ask you what you are say Im me and
walk away...

you should just tell them that I am (insert your name here) thats all I dress the way that I want...im not a label...labels are for soup cans and you should except me for me

Well emo is self explanatory.
Scene can be difficult.
In definition 'Scene' in the fashion world means a group of people that wear whats popular now and if it changes they change. (basically fad followers)

All though I have a few friends that are Scene and they told me about a 'rule'
Apparently you arn't suppose to admit your scene. (??)

We always catch wind of Japanese street style way after the fact.
