Need to know if my turtle is a girl or a boy

um take it to the vet and him/her will tell u!!

Didn’t say what kind/breed of turtle. The common Box turtle is easily indenified by the color of their eyes, males have a very red iris as where females have a yellow/golden colored iris. 99.9% sure of this as I have successfuly breed them and the hatchings from their eggs lived to be released back to nature after 8 weeks or so protected until large enough to have a better chance of survial, it seems every thing will eat them when babies, just smaller than quarter.

We need to know what type of turtle it is. All males have longer, thicker tails than the female. However, we need to know what kind of turtle and how long the shell is. Juvenile turtles all look like females - and each kind of turtle matures at a different size, so if it’s still a juvenile (even if 2 years old it may be a juvenile), you can’t say for sure. With some species of aquatic turtles - sliders, painteds, cooters, some map species - the male has long front nails, too. Male aquatic turtles WILL NOT have a concave bottom shell (plastron). Male box turtles and tortoises do have concave plastrons, as do many semi-aquatic turtles such as wood and mud turtles, but some female box turtles will have a slightly concave plastron. Male North American box turtles usually have red eyes and females usually have brown eyes.
