How do you know if a baby bird is a girl or a boy?
I just got a baby bird and I want to name it properly. It has many features, but I don’t know what to look for.
Maybe check out whatever species you have, on the internet, and you will find out? With out knowing what you’re looking at (a sparrow or a parrot), it’s pretty hard for us to tell you.

welll… I know for parakeets, the boy has a blue streak above it’s nose… I dont know about the other birds… look for two holes…lol, I think.(?)
typically parrots need dna testing you can get it done at the vet
well on parakeets there is somthing called a cere on the top of their beak and if its Blue then its a boy if its Pink, borwn or any other color than its a girl
