How can i get people to vote for me?

I have just decided to run for a student government officer position at my high school. I am only a freshman, but if elected will serve as a sophomore. I am very good mathematically which is why I am running for treasurer. The election process is as...

follows: recite a speech on a video camera and then they play all of them in front of the entire school. You are also allowed to use other ideas for posters and other sorts of propaganda. I really need some ideas to catch peoples' eyes and make them vote for me, and a topic for my election speech.

Define yourself...tell them the type person you are (character)...what you feel is important in life and the school environment...what changes you would make to make the student gov't more responsive to student needs...as treasurer, will ensure the budget allocations are used wisely for the good of all and real needs met.

dont be too serious you have to know how to be fun sometimes and show to them no matter how many the responsibility is...you still show that youthful smile on your face

Tell the voters why you want them to vote for you...write a good spech make them think that you're the best out of all the runners.Make sure that you tell the voters that you like to have fun but can be serious if you need to!!!
