Starving or healthy?

if you used to eat 2000 calories or more a day and suddnley start eating 1000-1200 cal a day is that considered to be starving yourself even if your giving your body what it need? especially if your short?

starving yourself would mean you arent giving your body anything at all.

Im sure that if you eat 2000 calories and exercise youll be fine

but if your trying to lose weight than more exercise and 1000-1200 calories will be good.

try taking complementary vitamins a day too

You are starving yourself but what is worth your buddy is storing all the calories that you are eating so there is no way to loose weight. Trust me I was like you. if you only eat 1000 calories a day and are on a workout program, it will actually take longer for you to lose weight than if you were eating in the 1500-1700 cal a day range.

at 1000 your body is going to start storing fat. if you eat a few hundred more, your body won’t store those calories but instead it will use them as energy in your workout. you’ll burn more fat instead of storing it.
