I also play soccer, I've been playing for like 7 years though.
just practice practice and practice.
get the feeling of the ball, and what your feet can do with it.
get good touches and keep it in control close to you when you practice.

you have to be confident and comfortable with it,
dont be afraid of falling, messing up, of getting hit with it.

dribble around even for a little while, then more later, then more.
you dont have to practice for 4 hours straight, trust me, it'll get boring and
uninteresting.

say your talking on the phone with a friend, get a ball, kick it around, dribble,
or juggle it (where you hit it up with your head, knee/thy, ankle/foot, chest anything)

then when yourself if feeling more confident, practice with a friend.
pass it back and forth, inside of your foot for nice passes.

then later go to a field or something where a net is, and kick long shots.
with the laces of your shoes! not inside for scoring.

make sure your having fun, but working hard.
practice, get in shape, and understand the controlling to the ball.

make sure you also know HOW TO PLAY.
google the rules, and watch some games in your city or something.
maybe its a good idea to join a summer team so your ready by fall.

hope it helpeddd :]
