Should race have anything to do wit what music you listen to?

Being black most people assume that I listen to rap music...I listen to a little of it but not much I mostly like old school rb and rock...I love john mayer...nickelback and maroon 5...I've been told by my coworkers that I'm not black bc I listen to...

no it should'nt because I am hispanic and I am supose to know every reggaeton song or other hispanic music that comes out and I dont... I listen to all types of music :D!

I say no. People can listen to whatever music gets them going. I think its also racist to put people into steryotypes about music (or anything) based off of something as simple as skin tone.

Absolutely not. A person's race has nothing to do with what type of music they like. Listen to whatever you want to and don't worry about what others think.
