Listening to music during sleep

I love my ryu-ryu-kun!! Asked by amarante_suzuki 3 months ago, 3 answers.

I have a mp3 with a lot of Japanese songs on it and I listen to it when I go to bed and I end up falling asleep with it still on. And I always have it on repeat so it continues until I wake up and charge it.
But I've been waking up tired.. I think the music has something to do with it..
And I can't fall asleep without it on.. So any suggestions or anything? These bags aren't going to go away by themselves..

If you have a TV and DVD player in your room, you can set your TV to go off at a certain time and play CDs in the DVD player.

I really don't think the music has anything to do with it. I used to listen to music every night, I got so used to it that if you turned it off I would wake up! So I understand where you are coming from. I mean it is possible that you are not falling into your REM sleep because of it, but I am not an expert!

I do that with my T.V. I watch a rerun of Top Chef until I go to sleep, then the T.V. goes to whatever channel I have it on. I always have it on TV Land so it will play something funny, except for Bonanza, Star Trek & Gunsmoke. Hmmm. maybe that's why I feel rough when I wake up, lol.
It could be that the Japanese music just has some instrument in it that affects you in a bad way.
Just play some other kind of music. Elevator music is boring but it's not scary and it probably wouldn't make you tired. There's also stuff like Enya and Native American, that should be soothing to listen to.
