Self raising flour

I only have plain flour and I need self raising, can I use that and add something to it?

Self-rising flour simply has baking powder and salt added to it.

You can use all-purpose flour and add those ingredients to it, but I recommend you look at another recipe that requires baking powder to ensure you're adding the proper amount.
