What to do to fill the hole after high school running?

I did track and cross country in high school--I was the team captain. My whole identity was track and cross country, and now that I'm graduated, it feels like a piece of my soul has been ripped away. I'm going to college and having a great life, feeling quite happy in most areas, but I still have that hole at the back of my mind, and I miss the track and cross country experience of high school with the team and coaches adn competition a lot. What can I do to fill that hole? Running alone just isn't the same, without the competition and team aspects, so what can I do to satisfy that extreme desire to be back on the team again? If anyone else has this dilemma, what have you done to replace it?

Find out about marathons in your city or town, those are pretty competetive.
