I think that a lot of the problem is not knowing the diffrence between taste and feeling. Taste is when the food tastes really yummy and you want to keep eating cause you think you're hungry, what you don't know is that YOU ARE NOT HUNGRY you are simply enoying the flavor and just want more. Feeling is when you are full, it's hard to explain. Just take a second and ask yourself am I still hungry? If the answer is yes then eat a little more if the answer is no stop eating and if the answer is kinda stop eating.
Also, drinking while you eat will help curve your appitite. But instead of soda or things like that choose real fruit juice of water. It will fill you up without fattening you up.
Exercise is also important. Go running, do a 30 minute work out, push yourself! PUSH PUSH PUSH! I'm not saying go till you feel like you're going to pass out but a lot of people don't realize how strong they are until they push themselves.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!! tons of girls do that and it's discusting. besides eating healthy will benefit your health and help you lose weight while starving yourself just deprives your body of nutrients and it starts eating itself.

well I don't know if you are eating right, but you should.
The way to stop eating like a pig is to eat healthy, eat every 3-4 hrs. Try to eat every thing from the pyramid. When you feel that you are full stop eating, when your hungry eat. Its simple.
to lose lbs you should drink lots of cold water, it burns fat, and aslo warm green tea, do a lot of Cardio work like sit ups , crunches, push ups, to build you muscles,
jog a lot , run, basket ball,
also watch what you eat, eat fruits for energy, drink water cause it helps with your digestive system.
As sillygirl said, the key is to serve yourself a reasonable portion, and don't go back for seconds.
If you are in control of the meals, prepare foods that are healthy but not really all that tasty. Then you won't want to eat too much. Don't even have food son hand that are unhealthy. You won't be able to resist if it's there.
If none of this works, talk to a doctor. There are medical options.
Ehhh, I've had that problem so many times. So what I personally do is first (if your eating outside of a regular meal) stop and think, am I really hungry? Then think about how when you eat that food it will NOT help you towards you weight goal but instead just add those extra calories you don't need. Second if you really do want some food then grab a piece of FRUIT, I normally choose apples because I've found that they fill you up verrryy fast and then your dont have that food craving anymore and they are also super for your health. Next if your eating problem is occuring during your meal times I recomend drinking at least two (its not THAT much haha) cups of water before the meal, load up on water its good for you! While putting food on your plate focus on the healthy things you can eat like salad or whole grains. Proportion is the key to balanced meals, have a little bit of type of each food on the pyramid so you have variety to make your meals more interesting. Lastly plan out what you are going to eat the day before, this trick works if your persistant and stick to it, guidelines are good=)

How do i stop eating like a pig?
How can I make myself stop eating so much? I want to lose at least 40 pounds but I eat like a pig at EVERY meal?! Please give me some advice!!!
