Why are periods sometimes irregular?

does someone knows the answer to why your period doesn't come when its suppossed to? I mean sometimes it comes 3 daiz late or even a week late and it freak us girls up.....

I have the same prob..its nothing big just an irregular period..I got put on birth control to help.

Are you counting 28 days from your last period? That could be why. Not every woman's cycle is 28 days. Mark your calendar for like 4 months to see the average amount of days between periods for you. Then you'll be able to better estimate when aunt flo will show up.

I have the same problem I actually miss a whole month every year I was prescribed birth control pills to regulate my periods.
