Remember that you need to have the eggs hard boiled to begin. You can always buy the coloring kits in the store to get the paint and stand. The hardest thing to do is to paint an egg without a stand, having to hold it. However, it's not necessary to buy the kit. You can make your own stand with a small shot glass or a small empty lotion bottle top so that the egg can rest it's bottom somewhere. As far as the paints you can purchase any type of kid paints in your local supplies store. Make sure to have a lot of space and cover nearby floors and tables.
To make if fun for the kids you can bring pictures of cartoon characters they're interested in and try to have them draw their head on the egg. Usually by having more than 3 or 4 kids together with paint, they'll find fun anywhere, don't worry.
