My parents are making me so mad

OMG... my parent's are makeing me so mad. I wanted my mom to
drive 4 hours away from were I live, so I could do this commercial, that people wanted me to do, I really want to become an actress!!! I don't ask for much anthing, from my parents, but the one time something very important in my life they say NO!AHHH... this comercial was how I wanted to start my acting career. but my parents say I have no future in acting! but I do! I have taken drama and acting before, just never or tv. would you let your kid do a comercial if you had to drive 4 hours for it? do you think my parents are being fair? how can I make them say yes?

tell them this might be your only chance to be what you want or take a bus

maybe they have a really good reason behind why they will not take you. maybe it's the gas prices, as they are SUPER-HIGH right now. maybe it's something else that they just aren't sharing with you. I know how aggravating it is to have your mind set on something and not be able to follow through with it. it's tough feeling so out of control. doing a commercial sounds like a lot of fun, but if you are as good as you say you are, you will have other opportunities. if you want to TRY to convince them to take you, you will need to sit down and explain your feelings to them in a mature way, not breaking down or throwing a fit. it may or may not work, but at least you could give it one last go. good luck, sweetie =)

Maybe its because of work (if they work). you could concider one of your neighbors or best friends to take you!

mabe a friend or sumthin can take u? I think mabe they sed no because they dont want to drive that long ..especially with the price of gas now..

well... if you really want to be an actress then you should show them that you are really commited to it. if they see that acting is the most important thing in your life then they probably will consider it.

tell your mom how much you want it.and if she doesnt take you ask to get a taxi or something if you want something that bad go and get it dont let anyone hold you back/:D

AGain Iknow how you feel. LOL. I recntly wanted to go meet with modeling agencies thst cmae down to my town form all over the world. The first day they came my parents told had things to do and couldn't take me. The next day the agencies went down to a place a little further away form my house. My dad told me he didnt want to drive that far. I always say I wnna move to new york and be a model and my parents are always like why wouyld you want to do that?! Its realy annoying. TRUST ME I GO THROUGH THE SAME SH*T YOU DO!
