Advice on how to get friends

I just moved to Terre Haute a couple weeks ago and I need sum advice on how tuh make friends because I was really shy and now I dont think I am...? Well I am guna go tuh Terre Haute South as a freshman. Thanks!

Well just be yourself. Try to talk to people, even if it's just to compliment them. Try to just make friends, even if it's just one. See if they'll introduce you to their friends. It may be rough the first couple of days, but it will get better.

I agree with marlenacr. Be yourself and try to talk to people. Try to have confidence and stop being shy (if you still are). I used to be really shy, but I just get quiet sometimes. Try not to be too quiet, though, because people tend to think that you don't like them or you're mad because you don't talk enough (kind of weird). I'm sure high school will be a great experience and you will make plenty of friends! :]
