Hi bethany! I am a senior in college and am very familiar with your problem. My best friend and I met in the 5th grade and were attached at the hip until her family moved the summer going into 8th grade. And she didn't just switch schools, she moved to another state. I was devastated, and I know how upset you must be. But the key is to stay open minded and be friendly to people in all 'cliques'. Because you still haven't started school yet, look into sports and clubs you can get involved in. Sports, Drama, debate, spirit club, honor society, student council, math or a foriegn language club, anything you can get invovled in will enable you to meet lots of new people. Keep an open mind, and try something new! Keep in touch with your best friend but make time for the new ones. You still have two years of high school, plenty of time to make lots more friends! PS. My best friend and I are STILL best friends after all this time because we have kept in touch and I see her every year. I just went to her wedding in fact! I'm always here to talk, so fun mail me if you'd like.

How can I get over my best friend leaving?
my best friend for the last 7 years is going to another school and im wondering how to make new friends because everyone is already in their clicks and im just left over. im going into my junior year and need some one to talk to at school and stuff. help please!!
