maybe because you need to shampoo it too.I remember reading something about that that you need to do both.and you need to let your hair down like say whenyour sleeping and your hairs up and your moving around its pulling your hair from the rooots or just loosening it

I had the same problem...It was due to the medication I was on...Dr. suggested I stop taking it...within 2 weeks, it slowly stopped falling out...hope this helps you...
