I was In this Situation Once, too.
The Girl Obvuously Needs Help.
You Need to Speak wiht her,And If that Doesnt work,Go to her Parents.
They May be Unsure of What's going on with your friend.
Try Sititng Down, and Talking to her Parents,Or A trusted Adult who Also Knows your friend.

Dear bisexualandproud,
If she really wanted to kill herself she would have by now. She is crying for help so help her. Speak with her parents and make sure she is seeing a counsellor and getting the proper medications. It's obvious that she isn't doing either of these things. There isn't a lot you can do for her...loved ones always feel a sense of guilt that they can't fix the problems. Just do you part in making sure the proper help is there for her and that all the adults in her life know of this so they can make sure she is taken care of.
Sue...good luck

I have also suffered through suicide attempts. The best thing for you to do is let your friend know that you are there for them and that with the right help everything gets better. Trust me when I tell you that your friend needs to talk to somebody about their feelings and they need to do this only when they are ready and feel comfortable doing so. I can promise you (and your friend) that things get better. Just remember that the most important thing for your friend is friendship and let her know that you will stand by her. Just letting her know something as simple as that could save her life. My friend saved mine. Just let her know that she is NEVER alone and that you really care about her. Give it time. Patience is truly a golden virtue. Actually the song 'salty eyes' from the matches saved my life and the lives of so many others. I would definately give that song a listen.

I have suffered with suicide attempts as well. The best thing for your friend is to let her know that you are with her 100%. Let her know that with the right help everything gets better. Just having a friend by her side could save her life. She definately needs help which is by no means a bad thing. We all need a bit of help every now and then. Having a friend by my side definately made me think twice about killing myself. My best friend told me that if I killed myself that I would also be killing a part of her. This was a wake up call for me. Ultimately the song 'salty eyes' by the matches saved my life. I would definately give that song a listen. I told the singer of the band the effect he had on my life and he actually thanked ME for opening his eyes to how meaningful his song actually was. The importance of having someone by your side when you go through something like suicidal thoughts or tendencies is too big for words. You can do something for your friend, show her how important she is and just be there for her. Something so simple could have such a dramatic effect. Trust me-- it DOES get better.
