How can i get my mother off my back?

I have a very controlling mother, like she wont let me have any privacy and gets jealous. of my best friend. I also have a younger brother that likes to watch me too. I'm almost 18 and I just wanted to know how I get her off my back?

wow what kinda mother get jealous of her childs best friend but any way. your best bet is to just talk to her and try to get your feelins across the best way that you can screamin and yellin isnt gonna get you any where explain that your growin up and you some room to spread your wings so you can learn how to fly. and the younger siblin thats just some thing your gonna have to except I was once the youner one and more I have a younger sister so I know it from both angles your brother will learn with age.

Well since your older, It's better becuase you can move out, stay with friends, etc if anything happened. But I think it would be best to talk to your mom get your feelings across and tell her that your 18 years old and you need your own space. Maybe do things to make her realize your responsible young lady!
