How can i help my niece get free from her mother?

My niece live with her mother. Her mother is unfit. She has been in trouble for drugs and gambles. She does not work and really as not in the 14 years my neice have been on this earth. SRS has been involve but the mother is a good talker and my neice...

If you can, hire a lawyer and sue for custody.

Contact child welfare and explain the situation to them as well - you'll want them on your side.

Get as much evidence as you can to back up your claim.

if you love your niece, then let her stay with you, then talk to her about it, see if she can talk to your mother or father or carer about it, let her know shes loved and she should open up. good luck x
