Mark of the beast...

Thumbs Asked by walker_between_worlds 6 months ago, 20 answers.

I saw a video where this man was talking about chips that go underneath the skin. He was suggesting that whoever didn't receive it would more than likely be hiding something. That those people would probably be terrorists. The bible speaks of people who...

don't receive the mark being killed and so forth...

Now... I don't believe everything in the bible but some I do. I will die before I receive the mark. Will you receive the mark, or will you accept the label of terrorist?

Yeah, the part when Jesus returns to carry all the good Christians up to heaven, should be a FAR more interesting event to witness than a some stupid microchip.

Think IN GENERAL before you post questions about the apocalypse. If you want to establish what you do and do not believe about the Biblical depiction of the events leading to the end of the world (which in itself, is an misinterpretation of the book of Revelation ANYWAY)...

''I saw a video...'' is NOT a good way to start.

I believe today did a news story on the first micro chipped families (with an interview) a couple years ago

SCARY!

You need to research this subject further, because you're presenting in a context which implies specific (highly controversial) interpretations of biblical prophecies occuring. Of which there are OTHER events that are supposed to occur BEFOREHAND.

WELL IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET!!! There is still time for the other events to happen before the chip is enforced upon everyone. You know as well as I and everyone else does that it hasn't gone into effect yet. It is an early warning. And also did you read that I do NOT believe EVERYTHING the bible says? Think a little bit more before you are so quick to comment... captain

DUDE!!! I'm not sitting here trying to rewrite the book of revelations event by event, I am just saying that it is interesting that these events are beginning to take place. I NEVER said that the mark of the beast was a far more interesting event than the second coming or that it would happen before the second coming. I'm still trying to figure out why you said that. Next time don't just pull a piece of my quote and copy and paste it. Pull the whole thing if your gonna do that.

...and another thing. I was raised in the bible... I KNOW what it says. And all CHRISTIANS are SUPPOSED to be good. So I don't know why you said that Jesus will carry all the GOOD Christians to heaven. He's not going to leave any bad Christians, because if he leaves them then they are not Christians at all.

And there is nothing wrong with starting a question with I saw a video... being that I was referring to a clip of a news broadcast speaking about the chip's existence.

Acutally I myself do not believe in the rapture before the tribulation. There are two different interpretations. The bible says the mark will be law about half way through the tribulation. I seriously doubt the mark will come before hand because pretribulation was ment as a last chance where people could turn to G-d. Out of curiosity how can you accept some parts of the bible but not all? I kind of thought people would believe in all or none. G-d Bless.

It's just that the bible was in the hands of the roman-catholics for so long. The people weren't actually able to read the bible for themselves... until Martin Luther came along stood up against the clergy men. The clergy men would tell us what it said instead of letting us read it for ourselves. And with something like religion a person can gain almost unlimited power. They could have EASILY burned the original version and rewrote it to add their 2 cents and gain power. But I just can't see Jesus approving of all the crusades and all the blood shed that is spoken about in the bible. The people who wrote the bible said that god commanded them to do these things... when I don't think that god commanded them to do it at all. I think that it was all man's lust for power and they made it justifiable by saying that god told them to do it. Jesus (who is the ultimate role-model in the bible) always said to turn the other cheek. And is not the goal of all Christians to be Christ-like? Jesus did not kill even when he was angered. He flipped a few tables in the taburnacle, but never hurt anyone. I just couldn't see Jesus being willing to serve a god that would order the killing of thousands of people. I also believe that it was the clergy men that added the part in the bible that says to believe the whole word of god, because why would the writer of the bible need to say that if there weren't some parts of the bible that people might find as contradicting. I think that Jesus knew who god really was and that the men who wrote the bible didn't.

Just a short little bio of myself... When I was young I was anointed and prophesied over to be a great prophet. They even said that I would undergo tremendous persecution from the modern day Christians. As I grew older I started having dreams where god would speak to me. Many dreams do I see myself being labeled as a false prophet. And in my dreams I can never talk because there is always someone interrupting me. Then in my dreams I see my persecuters losing their breath and their ability to speak. And god's voice speaks to me saying Those who speak against my true followers will have their breath taken away. Now.. I don't know if that is really a verse in the bible... but that is what god says to me in my dreams.

It's not enough to be persecuted (or to have a persecution complex, more likely). You also have to be _right_.

As I grew older I started having dreams where god would speak to me.

Seek psychiatric help.

Only God knows when these events will take place; to claim otherwise you are bearing false witness.

I never said that you did.

How very idealistic... and vague...

Then maybe you should explain, which of the 30,000+ denominations of Christianity, are REAL Christians?

***And god's voice speaks to me saying Those who speak against my true followers will have their breath taken away. Now.. I don't know if that is really a verse in the bible... but that is what god says to me in my dreams.***

...and... you think announcing this will somehow convince people to take you... seriously?

Didn't son of sam hear voices also...?

I don't need psychiatric help because the voices are not inside my head. Everyone hears voices in dreams.

1. There is no right denomination. I wasn't referring to a certain denomination I was referring to each individual person. I don't see any reference of denomination in anything thing that I wrote.

2. I never said I knew when the events were going to take place, I said that there are signs of the events showing up.

3. You said that the second coming is a FAR more interesting event than the stupid microchip. As if you were implying that I thought the microchip was a FAR more interesting event. I only started a topic on it, cause I wanted some CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, not criticism from you.

4. Sure you can do as you please, but only pasting part of my quote is only pasting part of the truth. utopia commented saying that didn't son of sam hear voices also...? utopia probably didn't know that I heard the voice in a DREAM, because your post was misleading... for the purpose of making me look insane like I don't know what I'm talking about.

5. You don't even listen to what I'm saying... you are only thinking of what you can say next to try and out smart me... I'm not going to give advice on something or post something that I know nothing about.

6. I think you are the one who is not taking me seriously... and now others are starting to not take me seriously because you are only trying to make me look bad, because this only some kind of ego-battle for you.

You haven't even given me credit for any of the knowledge that I have. You are just trying to suck me dry of my energy till I give up.

You said this:
***Will you receive the mark, or will you accept the label of terrorist?***

You need to research this subject further, because you're presenting in a context which implies specific (highly controversial) interpretations of biblical prophecies occuring. Of which there are OTHER events that are supposed to occur BEFOREHAND.

This is your first post... now why would you say that there are other events that would occur BEFOREHAND when I never said that the mark of the beast was going to be the first thing that occurs. You are not thinking about the things you are writing, and you are not listening to me.

Hopefully you didn't think I was referring to you utopia... You haven't upset me. It is just that he only quoted the part that said I heard a voice. He didn't bother to put in their that the voice I heard was in a dream. I can't think of any other reason why arachnid would have said that I needed psychiatric help, but then again I don't see anyone saying that prophets in the bible needed psychiatric help for hearing the voice of god in dreams... so why should I need psychiatric help... talking to arachnid.

1) In other words... you don't know.

2) No... you said ''these events are beginning to take place.''

3) I don't care what you consider to be interesting, nor did I imply it. Try again.

4) That's relative to the percentage of your posts that are actually 'the truth'

5) Oh, that last part made sense. You should listen to yourself.

6) I'll give you credit when you actually prove yourself worthy of such credit.

***no one is trying to make you look insane...***

Nope... he's got that part covered.

***but then again I don't see anyone saying that prophets in the bible needed psychiatric help for hearing the voice of god in dreams... ***

Its kind of pointless for non-believers to claim biblical characters needed psychiatric help when:

(A) the non-believers consider the majority of the characters in the Bible to be fictional (OR) the scriptures and characters in the Bible are from a long long time ago, and the characters (fictional or not) are long dead and clearly beyond help at this point.

(B) Retroactively, psychiatry wasn't a well established practice in biblical times, so a practitioner of said field would be hard to find.

But you can feel free to list each biblical prophet (that you can think of) to whom God spoke in their dreams; and I'm certain there is one or more members on FunAdvice.com that would be glad to tell you those people were pants-on-head crazy.

This is a waste of my precious valuable time. Anyone who ACTUALLY READS this will understand that you are a brick wall, but I'm sure you'll find something else to say to blow up that big head of yours. As for me I'm out and I have made a valid point (and I don't need YOUR say so to know that).

The Bible doesn't mention microchips. If god inspired the Bible, there's no reason he couldn't have mentioned microchips, even though the writer would have no idea what he was talking about.

Then after the 3rd judgment, all were required to bear a microchip (let readers from the future understand!)...

Posting threads in which you convince YOURSELF, but cannot seem to convince or even establish your own credibility to others... is pointless, and is NOT making a valid point at all.
