I was walking though my local book shop when I saw a book about indigo children...I skimmed through it for a few minutes and didn't get it...I mean...gifted children new generation children that can have superpowers such as telepathy and ofcourse have high IQ's they are individualistic and independent and feel like they deserve things.
I mean ...doesn't that sound more like a spoilt brat to you?
It sounds like new mutants or x-men kids. And it's not.
Some children just suffer from a disorder and when you choose to believe that they are gifted...which is relative ofcourse...a parent will always think their child is special...just don't go to overboard by labeling them as..:The special Oneswhen they probably have ADHD or some other type of mental disorder even antisocial characters which I have to remind you is a sociopath's trait.
I suggest stop encouraging this concept of Indigo kids.Because when people say a new breed of people will arise to stop war and bring order...if your not a politician you start to sound like a cult leader.People just can't be magically born and have x-men powers and start stopping war and chaos in this world.
There are certain individuals who have greater intuition than the rest of us, which includes children. There's nothing magical about it, it's just part of the variety of the species, just as there are individuals who are smarter than average, or more artistic, etc.
These are the ones that end up with the 'indigo' label.
I've been called an Inigo child, but I don't know that much about it.
I am the furthest thing from a spoiled brat, so I don't know.
I suppose I believe in it, because I've had premonitions, seen relatives that have past away, etc.
But I didn't know that it was considered a cult.
I don't even really consider myself an Indigo simply because I don't understand the label.
