What if talking to your children about god is not lies?

I absolutely agree with you, that children need to be told the truth, from the beginning. That God is real, and that they were created in his image, that they are uniquely and wonderfully formed, and that he knew each of us before we were formed in the womb, and that he has a wonderful plan for our lives, if we learn of him, and find his will for us.

WE SHOULD NOT TEACH OUR CHILDREN LIES, OR MYTHS. WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE IS NO SANTA CLAUS, NO TOOTH FAIRY, NO MONSTERS UNDER THE BED, NO SUPERMAN, NO FAIRY TALES, NO CINDERELLA,NO REINCARNATION,NO SUCH THING AS EVOLUTION, THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, AND HIS NAME IS JEHOVAH,THAT THE BIBLE IS REAL, THAT GOD LOVES THEM, THAT GOD RESPONDS TO MAN WHEN HE COMES TO HIM IN SINCERITY AND TRUTH.

well it sounds as if your going to have a boring life going up with your kid.
Tell me what fun will it be if you cant scare away the monsters that hide under his/her bed, or if you cant sneak in their room and switch a tooth for a quarter?
Just know, no matter what they go through your going to have to be there for them!

I agree, but they are going to learn to lie either way.. we are all born with sin.

I know it's not okay to lie to children...and I agree with religion and God and everything..but no Santa? Some kids have their fondest memories thinking about Christmas and stuff like that! I don't think you need to go that far...I found out by the time I was 7 or 8 that Santa wasn't real, but you don't need to tell them when they're young because it's everywhere. They hear about Santa at school, on TV, and all over the place.
