Im 17 and i need a job asap

I'm 17 going to be 18 in march of 2010 and I desperetly need a job I live in new york city and I don't know what to do I've already applied to so many places online and went into starbucks to apply and still nothing. I have had a little bit of working...

experience in a wholesale florist but that's all. Can anyone tell me what would be the best thing to do to get a job asap

Uhm dont apply online unless you really have to
its usually better to turn in applications in person and to the manager
sell yourself lol you know make yourself look good be outgoing
but not too much show them you wanna work and I agree with frankietory
walk around town see what you find good luck =]

Check the newspaper for job listing and other then that walk around town and go into stores and ask for applications

at this point. my best bet is to say go to any college you can get into to rid out this storm along with a part time job, nyc is really bad right now. best bet if you really want work, go looking at big businesses, not local. they pay crap but its a nickel...
