Try becoming more active in school things. Join clubs or after school programs. I found that once I joined a few clubs, I looked forward to going to school more, because I had more in my day to break up the boring parts.Another thing you could do, is switch some of your boring classes for ones that interest you a bit more, if that's possible.
Think about what you want out of life, anything.
Then you have to realize you NEED an education no matter what and the best your are at it, the more likely you'll get what you want.
Just sit there and think 'I can get this, I own at school'
You just need a super optimistic attitude even if its fake. As long as you pay active attention, you'll be fine. You have to relate it to yourself.
I guess this is a bad example, but when I used to smoke weed I needed better grades in math. So I just thought that 'N= pounds of weed sold' 'p=price of weed' and that made the entire class so much more interesting.
You have to substitute all the boring things in your head with what your actually interested in.

How to deal with a lack of interest in school things?
Well I'm in the 11th grade now, and I just can't wait to go to univ. I've been in a formal school, until I changed to homeschooling on grade 10 which is just for just a semester, because my parents forced me to get back to a formal school again. And here...
I am, in a formal school again, dealing with a lack of interest on it. And in fact I must say that the school itself is a total sucks.
So, how to be motivated just to keep on attending class for one more year before I finally can go to univ?
