How to convince mom to let me dye my hair blonde?

I have naturally black hair but I’ve dyed it dark brown like 2 months ago. I want to go blonde, but my mom was like ‘you’re not going to dye your hair again because it became really dry’ before I told her I wanted to go blonde. If I told her she’d think I’m crazy, but is there a way I could convince her? She says that my hair gets all dry if I do.

PS. dont give me ‘advice’ saying that I shouldn’t dye my hair because that doesn’t exactly help.

write a paper to show her your serious..and explain why you would look better blonde or whatever reasoning you have… when every my mom doesn’t give me reason…I just keep making her explain herself until she realizes that shes being irrational…the key to doing this is not to piss her off in the process…or you can just do it…and they’ll realize that it’s YOUR hair and you can dry it out if youwant.

From your picture it looks like you already have blonde hair but let your mom know its your hair and you can do what ever you want with it

When I got my hair dyed black with cherry red in it I didn’t tell my mum I just turned up home. She looked like she was having a heart attack! It was so funny! And a bonus my hair looked mint.

honestly, if your hair isnt at least naturaly light blonde, its going to take major up keep or you will be judged by the stereotypical girls who call them bottle blondes. Blondes dont have more fun. Its my natural colour and I don’t know what it has to be obsessed over anyways. and if you do decide to go blonde still. Cool. Make sure you get all over hilights with bleaches about 90 percent still and you get to choose three or so different ttones of blonde. Ash blonde looks the best on every complexion, as said by Tyra Banks. I suggest you research and go to a proffesionasl if you are expecting to turn heads. Trust me, its worth it ! and GOOD LUCK :)

Explain to your mother that it’s YOUR hair, and you should be able to do whatever you please to it. And the dryness, if you go to beauty salons, they give you this small, clear bottle of some type of liqued, it feels like baby-oil. And it smells really sweet. But you can put that on your hair to condition it. You can also put it on before you straighten you hair!

Everyones hair gets dry though, and you dont need to worry about it since you have only dyed your hair once, bleaching is more serious than dying it, and dying it even ten times isn’t gonna have any serious damage on your hair. Just look up good facts, and know your stuff when it comes to getting your hair done, share it with your mom that you know what to do and what not to do to your hair. And that will make you seem very ready, and responsible. Good Luck(:
