How can I get my Mom to let me dye my hair black?

I just got my hair highlighted and im already sick of it. I mean its not that it looks bad, because it looks good, but I want to dye it black. like jet black. I got it highlighted on june 2nd, and it cost like $100. theres no way my mom will let me dye it black after she payed all that money to highlight it, any suggestions on persuading her??

Hi,

Well it has been almost three weeks, it’s not like you want to change it again after two days. But I can still see where your Mom is coming from. What if you dye it black and you don’t like it? Then the only way to get it stripped is to go to a salon, which is more money :/. Are you SURE you want to do it? If you are, I’d just tell her that you’re positive you want it black and you won’t change it again for XX number of weeks or whatever. OR you can offer to pay her back for the salon through your allowance or job.

I just dyed my hair blck with hot pink permadint highlights the other day and it was a surprise to my mom because I didn’t tell her I was going to do it, and she was upset but she still loves it. It depends on how strict your mom is. You might want to go for a leval one semi permident but just beg her till she says yes.
