How to tell my my i want to see a therapist?

ok, so im screwed up completly beyond any self help and I need to see a therapist. The problem is I just cant get the words out of my mouth when im talking to my mom. How do I just say it. Or is there anyway I can see one without my mom knowing?

Write her a letter, send an email, send a text message, ask a third party to intervene on your behalf... and no, without parental permission it is unlikely you can see anyone but your school counselor. There are exceptions in some states, but I'm not familiar with the laws where you live.

Hi there,

Try to practise in front of the mirror with diffirent ways of saying it.

Dont say it the way you dont like it. Try saying: Mom, I think I might have some problems and might need someone to talk to. Do you think we can schedule an appointment for me with a good Counselor?

Or try to make yourself angry about something and then just spit it out. I always talk easier when Im a bit emosional.
