You're metabolism is determined by your genetics. There are ways for increasing your metabolism I.e. exercise, caffiene, your diet, and what you do on a day to day basis. Usually after a hard exercise your metabolism is increased for about 12 hours. Sleeping is whenever you metabolism is the slowest and that's why you don't eat like 4 hours before bed.

I have a question you know whenver you see a skinny person everyone is like oh they just have a high metabolism; is a high matabolism inherited genetic trait or is it acquired through a healthy diet and regular excercise?
