Dear melindaawillcockson,
There isn't a way...this is why it is said birth control is not 99% safe. This is also why you need to use a condom not just for STDs but to help reduce the odds. So no matter what form of birth control you use it is never 100% safe. That is why us adults say never have sex unless you are prepared to be a parent.
Sue...good luck
Its good to take double or treble measures if you dont think you want to handle having a baby, an abortion or giving up your baby for adoption.
Being super carefull becomes second nature after a while.
As you are young (ie; exremelly fertile and more prone to messing up) I suggest that AS WELL as the pill, you use a chemical spermicide or lemon juice, avoid having sex in the middle of your cycle- when you are ovulating. Arrange your romantic liasons just before your period, as that is GENERALLY the safest time. but be aware that everyone has a different cycle- a different time that they ovulate and are fertile.

Pill + condom +abstinence during ovulation should mean no babies.
Be safe, be happy!
the only 100% way of not risking getting pregnant is not to have sex, but if you follow the instructions given with the pill, make sure you take it every day, then you as best protected as you can be against pregnancy... and remember antibiotics and being sick can cancel out the pill and you must then use condoms to cover yourself... and unless you are in a steady relationship where you know you are not at risk of catching an std, then use a condom as well... the pill is a very good form of birth control, one of the best apart from sterilisation and saying no, just make sure you follow instructions.
