Will birth control help these irregular periods?

I'm 14, not interested in having sex but hate having such a irregular period after about 2 years and I think I want to say something about my doctor about maybe birth control or something I don't know .. I just don't know if I will be sexually active anytime soon, maybe if things move on with my boyfriend ? help !

I'm on birth control because of my irregular periods and cramps. I LOVE IT! It helps so much. You don't need to be sexually active to be on it. Go talk to you OBGYN They can help you make an informed decision. In my opinion, I would tell you to get on it, but that's just me.
