How do i know if my dog is a cocker spaniel?

How do you tell if a dog is cocker spaniel or not?

I've been wondering if my dog is pure breed since they gave it to me? Since I'm not sure if it is pure breed or not I'm hoping someone here might have the answer. And is whiling to help me out.

The American Cocker Spaniel is a small dog that stands between 14 and 15 inches and weighs between 24 and 28 pounds. Their coat is short on their head and medium length on their body. It is soft and silky and comes in a variety of colors including black, brown, blonde and liver.

Can you post a pic of it?? There's a few of us that do a pretty job of telling what breed it might be...or even what cross it might be, if it isn't purebred.
