How do I get myself to show up when I am googled?

Hi there! I feel that I am invisible...when I google my name I am not coming up..I have 2 websites and I am a realtor in va...can someone help me so that potential customers can find me?

I think you have to have a website that complies with web standards, and make sure you use your keywords everywhere you can while still making sense so the search engines' “spiders” give you a higher ranking. I also think other sites linking to your site give you a higher rating, which should move your site closer to the number one position.

You should look up something along the lines of “search engine optimization” as you may find information on more tips than I know about.
