ahh thank you. yeah, I have a dress, its about 2 inches above my knee and my heels are about 5 or 4 inches, I guess my legs look longer with them on.. I just hate my bulkyness really, if I could reduce that and my actual muscle they would be great. yeah yeah, I'm going to try squats and cycling they sound like good ideas and I havent really tried them yet! thank you, thank you, thank you! X
Wait! I've always had big calves and what I think are thick ankles, but I exaggerate my perception. I was so self-conscious throughout H.S. that I probably didn't show my legs once the whole time. I eventually found out that men love big calves. And they don't look as big to others as they do to me.
We all have different bodies. Many women with skinny calves complain about their chicken-legs. In high school, you obsess about the smallest perceived imperfection in your body and most of it is unnecessary. You're lucky you're almost out. By this time next year, hopefully you'll think your calves are sexy because they probably are.
Especially as adolescents, women are comparing ourselves to these anorexic things called models and pop stars. This is not how people look and the way these girls look in magazines and videos is not how they look in real life.
At prom - don't be insulted if boys comment on your thick legs. If they say that, they mean it as a compliment. And keep in mind that none of the famous gams throughout history have had skinny calves. I'm just sayin'...
Oh, and by the way - the higher heels do elongate the leg. I don't do heels, but I have found that 2 or less emphasizes the girth. Especially if the heel is wide. Ankle straps can go either way, but best to stay away. Slightly dangling anklets flatter.
Men like things on us that they don't have. They don't have boobs, or hips or big calves.
(Sorry my comments are so long!!)
