Homemade remedies for sore throat?

My throat is absolutely killing me!

Anyone got any home made remedies?
My dad suggested horlicks but I can't stand it, so that's outta the question, but any others I'm willing to try happy

Drinking lots of hot liquids in general (herbal tea is best). Make yourself a honey (for your throat) and lemon tea (vitamin C to kill the bad guys). Also try putting cinnamon and ginger into it that'll kill the buggers.

Honey tea or just honey mixed into warm water for you to sip is the best way. Honey has been proven to be better than antibiotics, and it's soothing.

Heck with the warm water! Just swallow a couple tablespoons of honey a couple times a day.

Honey dehydrates bacteria so helps heal the sore throat plus it is soothing and tastes good.
