Home remedies for a sore throat and cough?

okay I am very very sick! my throught is killing me, I have a GIANT head ache, and I have a killer cough. Does Anyone have any home remedies on how to make me feel better? people please help me!

Home remedies? Hot tea with lemon and honey, chicken noodle soup (really!) a dehumidifier in your room at night.

If you can consider over-the-counter meds, I'd strongly recommend a good decongestant - ask for the real Sudafed - pseudoephedrine, and some extra strength tylenol or advil for the headache. Headache is probably from blocked sinuses too.

For your cough, if it's heavy in your chest, get an expectorant, and drink a lot of water while you're taking it.

And get lots of rest!

Ginger tea
Steam (either boil some water in a pan and put a towel over your head, or hot shower)
Soup with garlic and ginger
tylenol pm...
