Emotional neglect

What would be an example of a mother emotionally neglecting her child?

-Not listening to the child. Never wanting to here them speak.
-Never cooking food for them only themselves
-Leaving them frequently (going to pub, shops, males house) at a young age and leaving them to fend for themselves

Along with what beth has said:

-Never showing emotion towards the child
-Not listening to their problems or concerns
-Not being affectionate towards the child (hugging, etc)
-Never telling the child you love them or care for them
-Never praising the child for good things they have done
-Never disciplining the child when they have done things wrong.
