It can break, but it won't shatter, so it's simply harder to break. I think I saw the same advertisement in a hammacher-schlemmacher magazine a few weeks ago. Though, if it's as tough as they say, it might be pretty hard to break it, but it can't be impossible. Still, if you're clumsy or lazy with your stemware, I'm sure that one would be better for you.
If you drop them to the ground, they'll break just like anything else.
Ok, I thought it might have been a bit of hype in that magazine, or that I was reading it wrong that the glasses wouldn't break...thanks for the advice.

Does shatterproof crystal stemware really not break?

A few weeks ago, I saw some crystal stemware that sounded really good for me, because supposedly, it wouldn't breat. Does shatterproof crystal stemware really not break? The description said the product was made out of the same material as fighter jet cockpits, which I thought sounded cool...but, I'm alwasy leery of overhyped products. Any ideas on this one? Thanks!
