Do you believe that god is coming in 2012?

Do you belive that God/ Jesus is going to come down from earth on December 21,2012

I hate how preachers and such, try to predict it, and say when its going to happen, but in the bible it says that we aren;t supposed to know, and that we dont.
so no offense,
but those preachers just need to shut up, and live their lives.
I believe in god too.

I find it difficult to believe.
I believed the thing that was supposed to happen in 2000 and did it happen, nope.

I believe that Jesus Christ will come back, there is no question about that. but all the prophies concering his return are not fufilled yet. When they are he will come not until. Nobody knows the day or the hour so for some one to set a date is foolish. many in the past have done that and they have all been wrong. We should be prepared all the time because death comes the same way, unexpected?

Coming down from where? The space program has pretty much proven that there are no gods are living in the sky.

Modern Christians, unlike those who wrote the Bible', have been forced to place Heaven 'outside' nature to get around this problem, but the men who wrote the Bible literally believed God lived in the sky, which is why they depict Jesus as coming down out of the clouds.

We have no idea, what tommorrows news will bring.

And while this may seem fatalistic, to the younger generation, that have just begun to live... We older folks are very sorry... Most of us, have done the best we can to be the best we can be, and to do what we can for our country, and our fellowman. We have tried to follow the precepts given in Gods Holy Word, and we also have tried to share them, with anyone that was willing to listen.

We pray, and we hope, but, most things are out of our hands, that is why, our faith is so very precious to us, and that is why we spend hours after hours online, trying to be of help, trying to offer prayer, trying to be encouraging, and trying to share Gods message of hope.

We wish each of you the very best, and have nothing against anyone of you. It is our sincere hopes that everyone that comes here will be with us in heaven. But, it is entirely up to you. God has done all he needs to do, to ensure your salvation. He brings us here to be of help to you, he sent his son, he gave his word.

What else would you have him do?

He set things in motion, for us to follow. The world, is basically in our hands.

He will come back one day, and ask for an accounting, of how we lived our lives, how we responded to his messangers, his spirit, and his word.

We have to account for ourselves.

Mama can't help us, daddy can't help us. Preacher, teacher, friend, can't help us, not even Aunt Lucie...will be able to help us. We will stand on our own.

Jesus... is the one, that we need, to stand with us.

He is the one that will defend us.

He will say... no, not that one, he/she belongs to me.

I know Jesus is coming soon, but nobody but Him knows the exact time

The funny thing is all Christians say Jesus Christ is coming soon, and they have been saying this for hundreds of years. I just wonder what does soon mean? I need a date. Is soon 1 year, 10 years, a thousand years, a quadrillion years, a Giggolplex years? When is soon? Soon is relative and so it is up to interpretation as to whether God will come in 1 year of 10 billion years. So the word soon is not of any help because it could refer to any amount of time.

How do you know that the space program has proven that there is no God? Can the space program see everywhere in the 180 billion light year (800 Sextillion mile) Universe? Can it see every planet around the 70 sextillion stars. If God was the size of a normal man, could the space program see a normal-sized man on all of the decillions of planets and moons revolving around the 70 sextillion stars in the Universe? From what I heard NASA can't see crap. They talk about a lot of missions like SIM Terrestial Planet Finder, Project Longshot, Project Dadelus etc, but they have been promising these projects for over a decade, so I doubt NASA will ever live up to its claim. NASA is just fantasizing.

In heaven a year is as a thousand and a thousand as a year. Each year here brings us closer to the date. Also, it gives us hope in a caotic world
