Damag done to cuba

any one know how much damage was done and if any persons wher killed in cuba from the storm

You can get some info from weather.com. There is not much on cuba, some video thats all. I pray that the hurricane gets destroyed but upper level wind-sheer. I just heard on weather.com that there are waves 45 feet high in the Gulf of Mexico caused by this storm.

Knowing very little about Cuba, I was supprised to see the condition the people live in there. Every video clip that I saw, showed very poor living conditions, in addition to extremely old vehicles. Seeing this, was like a walk back into time. I was amazed.

It was very sad to see them, trying to save what little possessions they had.

It seemed that a refrigerator, was their most valuable possession, as this seemed to be the one item, that they were trying to carry to a place of safety. With many carrying their refrigerator on horse or mule drawn carts, just like our ancestors did, many years ago.

These people seem to me, to be frozen in time. And it hurts my heart, to see them suffering.
