What if my dad hates dogs but i love them?

my dad hates dogs but they are my favorite animal

Well, at this time.. I gather you are living under Dad's roof.. And it is hard as hell to get dad to say yes? Am I right?

Well, First off.. Don't give up.. Because I am a Dad.. LOL
My wife keeps trying to talk me into, why it would be good for all of us, to have a little puppy..
Though I feel, as if there is enough to take care of right now with out one..
But you know.. at this point.. I really think I'd like a boxer! :-)

Listen, hun.. IT won't be much longer that you will be on your own, and hopefully can own ur own puppy! In the mean time.. Ask your self, are you ready to take care of this animal?
Are you prepared? Is there any good reason you believe your father doesnt wont one?

Talk to your dad. tell him you will take care of it. and has to do nothing. If he dosnt bug ask if you an prove that to him by taking home a puppy form the SPCA. you can probaly take care of it for a week or two then bring it back. There is a speacil name for it but talk to him about that, if you can prove that you can do everything like:
1. Feed it
2. clean up after it.
ect.
he might change his mind

If your dad wont let you have a dog, try to find an animal shelter, that you might be able to find a summer job at. That way, you could help take care of the animals, especially dogs, and your dad wont be dissapointed in having one.
Or, if you have a friend that has a dog, you can ask to take care of him/her while they're on vacation.
